Rippling Hope. Every year for the past six summers, Zion Church has sent missionaries to Detroit to work with Rippling Hope ministries. The tasks have been things like painting, fence building, yard clearing, toilet replacement, and minor repair. But the impact our missionaries have had goes far beyond that.
Hear what Neighborhood Leaders have to say about the impact of Rippling Hope:
(Without Rippling Hope) “There would be a void in our community because Rippling Hope has improved our neighborhoods, homes, clubs, and associations. Just the relationships alone would be greatly missed.”
“I know our neighbors would stop communicating and our seniors would struggle with getting help. Our block would miss the love and care the volunteers bring.”
The tasks we do when we reach out in ministry are mundane, but the impact of our presence changes lives in profound ways, through our work with Rippling Hope but also in many other ministries we take on.
Your work through Zion Church is Changing Lives in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for all you do loving neighbors as if they were kin.

Underwear isn’t on any kid’s Christmas list. But don’t you remember how good it felt to open that package and slip on that brand new pair? Especially nice if you have been wearing hand-me-downs.
Thank you all for your contributions to Show Us Your Undies Sundays. You shopped and brought undies to the church, or you contributed money for me to shop and buy new. This afternoon I dropped off 65 packages of new, in the package underwear for children. Shared United Ministries will be coordinating with Toys for Tots to deliver those undies along with new toys for children.
May God richly bless you for your continuing, extravagant giving toward advancing the kindom of God. ... See MoreSee Less
